The inaugural A*STAR Scientific Conference & RI Open House aim to bring together researchers across the A*STAR family to interact with one another through learning about one another’s work. There will be exciting talks in 6 interdisciplinary themes chaired by experts, poster sessions, networking time, as well as trip visits to A*STAR research institutes/consortia. Come to this event to connect with colleagues, explore new and exciting opportunities to collaborate and to create new scientific frontiers in cross-council research.  

• Opening Remarks by A*STAR Chairman Mr Lim Chuan Poh
• Keynote Address by Nobel Laureate Dr Sydney Brenner. Other keynote speakers to be confirmed.
• Poster sessions showcasing A*STAR research institutes/consortia
• 14 BMRC and SERC research institutes/consortia participating at the inaugural A*STAR Open House
• Breakfast, lunch, tea and transport will be provided
