A*GA’s Youth Science Programme (YSP) aims to inspire a passion for science among talented youths in Singapore, and to encourage them to consider career paths in the fields of science and engineering.  This is key as Singapore must nurture a local talent pool in order to drive a knowledge-based economy.

To achieve this mission of nurturing Singaporean youths, YSP works in close partnership with the Singapore Science Centre (SSC), Ministry of Education (MOE), as well as A*STAR Research Institutes (RIs), to conduct a range of science-related activities, enrichment programmes and competitions, which are targeted at students in primary schools, secondary schools and junior colleges.
