The A*STAR-SSC collaboration officially started in 2002. Over the years of collaborations, successful activities organized such as Singapore Science and Engineering Fair, A*STAR Talent Search, National Junior Robotics Competition, Sony Creative Science Award, National Science Challenge, Meet-the-Scientist Session, Science in the Mall and Science.0x have involved more than 1 million students and members of the public. These existing projects, together with upcoming new initiatives by A*STAR and SSC will focus on the upper primary to lower secondary school, with the aim to create awareness of Science.
