The Ministry of Education (MOE) is a key partner to A*STAR in our continuous effort to promote an interest in science and a passion for research among students. A*STAR works very closely with MOE to organize various outreach activities for students, with the aims to raise their awareness and appreciation of science, to encourage them to take up science subjects in school and to consider research as a possible career option. In addition, A*STAR and MOE organize teachers attachment programmes at the A*STAR Research Institutes.  This programme provides the opportunity for teachers to immerse fully in A*STAR’s research culture and allows them to learn more about the research carried out in the various research institutes.
